S’pore tycoon blows S$100m at the tables

Asians love to gamble and that is a fact!

Governments are not just salivating at the taxes that betting has bring in - one estimate is that here, they could account for as much as a fifth of the Government's revenue - they also know that gamblers from overseas also splurge on hotels, food and entertainment like other tourists. But such revenues also produce high social costs, including the surge of mafia gangs, money-laundering, prostitution, drug-related crime, etc.

Don't be naive, tycoons will NEVER EVER loose a 100 million in fact NOT EVEN 1 million for nothing....

The question here is, how much is actually being lost? The so called eye witness account is always based on "according to sources"...

Lan Choew the witness can count 100 Million dollars worth of game chips on the table and they are allowed into the high roller's room to watch? Very Unlikely....

So, what actually happened to the money and how much was actually being involved??? That is the question that we have to ask..and not what people tell us.
