Rich Sporeans can drive there or take a cab.

Those tempted by the free shuttle are unlikely to be able to afford the gambling losses.

On 1 hand, they just prevent those poor gamblers to go and that's why there's this $100 levy..

On the other hand, they want those idiots who can afford the levy and reasonable amount of gambling to go..

One can consider the free shuttle as a "subsidy".

I think one can get a better deal by going to the casino ships off Batam. There's no $100 levy and I think ferry costs are waived if you can show you've brought gambling money

imo, in fact, sgporeans are their actual customers.

the tourists entering sg, i dun tink is so much enuff to support the casino overhead.
if msia, msian exchanging riggit to sgd to come sg to play, dey have oreadi make loses in the rate.
FTrash, dey enter for free but how many will fork out the money? sum dun even earn tat much. most also tt their money back to their homeland.

end of day, still sgporeans will be the ultimate customers.
