Russia's getting bogged down. They have taken far too many casualties for a war that they expected to end in a week or two.
prigozhin just admitted ukraine is not giving up bakhmut. will not have enough men and munitions to storm it. needs kremlin to resupply his wagner mercenaries. but may be too late. ukraine counter offensive has started.

Russia has so far only used mercenaries. Their professional army and reserves are still on stby

The Russian casualties are very much more grim.
They range from about 150,000 killed or wounded for Russian soldiers, and about 20,000 killed for the convicts pressed into Wagner's private army.
