Oh yah, Ukrainian fought back into Russia lands, is a fight back, cannot be invasion.
This reminds me of Hamburger Hill during the Vietnam War. The hill changed hands many times at the cost of multiple lives on both sides. The decision to capture the hill was heavily criticised as it offered little strategic advantage. In the end, the U.S. forces captured the hill, but abandoned it shortly after. The futility of the battle was plain for all to see.
