It's all back to the same conundrum:
What is legal may not be ethical, and what's ethical may not be legal.
As Singapore likes to pride itself on being 'a land ruled by law', and Sinkies pride themselves on obeying the law to the jot and tittle, it's hardly surprising that the ethics department can be lacking at times.
