十三姨 had a very wild private life. Had many lovers and one night even got sent to hospital to remove golfballs from her CB. Of course, all the directors and agents all came out to deny this ever happened

When it comes to celebrity urban legends, the one about former screen goddess Rosamund Kwan's 'Golf Ball Incident' stands out as pretty bizarre.
Back in the ‘90s, Rosamund, now 58, was romantically linked to Hongkong billionaire Joseph Lau, and rumour has it that he once made her a very, very strange offer. As the story goes, he challenged her to stuff golf balls into her, um, lady parts and promised to give her HK$10mil (S$1.8mil) for every ball that she managed to get in there.
Rosamund supposedly ended up having to be rushed to the hospital to remove two golf balls from her body. Neither she nor Joseph has responded to this outrageous allegation to this day, but it remains one of the most infamous pieces of gossip in Hongkong showbiz. We guess it's kinda like the Asian version of the Hollywood myth about Richard Gere and the gerbil (you can Google it if you’re curious).
First of all, the reporter shared that Joseph and Rosamund did not play golf, so there would be no reason for there to be golf balls lying around the house. He also pointed out that reporters would be stationed 24/7 near the two hospitals that are frequented by celebrities and the wealthy, and not a single one of them saw Rosamund being admitted that year.
Finally, he mentioned that he has interviewed Rosamund numerous times and has never seen her play golf, only tennis.
The actress was extremely candid about her love life during her interview and calmly admitted that she has tried dating “all kinds of men”, including those that already had girlfriends or wives.
“I have tried and done everything, including marriage and divorce,” she said, referring to her short-lived marriage to businessman Chris Wong when she was just 19. As for her thoughts on the world potentially labelling her a “professional mistress”, she said that she doesn’t make the first move, but she can’t stop others from doing what they want to do (um, okay).

In any case, we reckon Rosamund’s probably too busy being single, fabulous, and super rich to really care about the past.

She wouldn’t do such a thing… right?
Recently, a longtime entertainment reporter released a video to reveal the truth behind the 'Golf Ball Incident'. In short, it never happened.First of all, the reporter shared that Joseph and Rosamund did not play golf, so there would be no reason for there to be golf balls lying around the house. He also pointed out that reporters would be stationed 24/7 near the two hospitals that are frequented by celebrities and the wealthy, and not a single one of them saw Rosamund being admitted that year.

Glad that’s finally cleared up
That wasn’t the only old piece of Rosamund news that has been resurrected all of a sudden. The media also dug out her appearance on an old Hongkong talk show when she was just 26.The actress was extremely candid about her love life during her interview and calmly admitted that she has tried dating “all kinds of men”, including those that already had girlfriends or wives.

Young Rosamund’s got guts
Rosamund’s last public relationship was with Taiwanese billionaire art collector Peter Chen, whom she divorced in 2015 after a year of marriage. However, Taiwanese media found out a few months ago that the former couple were never actually formally married as they had broken up before they could tie the knot. Confusing, we know.In any case, we reckon Rosamund’s probably too busy being single, fabulous, and super rich to really care about the past.
