SINGAPORE – Former Cabinet minister Richard Hu Tsu Tau, who was Singapore’s longest-serving finance minister, a post he held from 1985 to 2001, died on Friday.

He was 96.

His death was disclosed in a Facebook post on Friday evening by People’s Action Party (PAP) member Lee Hong Chuang.

PAP puts their political representative from the lee and kwa families to be the head of country chairs of big companies like Exxon and shell etc. This benefits PAP by having insider information that they can use to trade and exchange for quick approval for project investments.
