Boycott rice, because rice is carb = sugar = diabetes = death.

Instead, have a protein and fiber rich diet.

@glockman

Although this idea has now been made near-mainstream popular by the Keto diet, but there are medical studies that caution against it, which you can take to be good news for people who like to have at least some carbs in their diet :

Low carb consumers were 51 percent more likely to die from coronary heart disease, 50 percent more likely to die from cerebrovascular disease, and 35 percent more likely to die of cancer. The associations were strongest among older, non-obese people (like Glockman!).
These results were replicated in the meta-analysis, which found that the overall risk of death from any cause was 15 percent higher in people who consumed the least amount of carbs, the risk of cardiovascular death was 13 percent higher, and that of dying of cancer was 8 percent higher.

Just don't overdo carbs like Zermatt Neo :

Global rice shortage is set to be the biggest in 20 years

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/19/glo...-to-be-the-largest-in-20-years-heres-why.html

From China to the U.S. to the European Union, rice production is falling and driving up prices for more than 3.5 billion people across the globe, particularly in Asia-Pacific – which consumes 90% of the world’s rice.

The global rice market is set to log its largest shortfall in two decades in 2023, according to Fitch Solutions.
