During my family's trip to Italy, Switzerland, Germany and France 9 years ago, our tour group comprised of mostly families with teenage children. Most of them were in JC, but there were a pair of siblings who studied in ITE. They were never ostracised, but kept to themselves after finding out that the other teens were either in JC or renowned secondary schools. Based on my anecdotal experience, it wasn't the JC teens who didn't want to associate with the ITE students.
