Serious Residents Of East Coast Receive Special Cups! Bring Those Cups To 7 Big Coffeeshop Towkays Of East Coast For $1 Coffee/Tea Every Friday 7am - 10am!

.

**[Local] Good News is Here!**

The East Coast GRC has launched an eco-friendly initiative. Residents can bring a designated "East Coast" cup to seven coffee shops in the area and buy a cup of hot coffee or tea for $1 every Friday from 7 AM to 10 AM. So far, 1,000 cups have been distributed.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, who is also an MP for East Coast GRC, recently posted on social media to promote a new initiative called "Sip And Save" in the East Coast area. Residents can bring their designated "East Coast" cups to seven participating coffee shops every Friday from 7 AM to 10 AM and buy a cup of hot coffee or tea for $1.

The East Coast GRC and Bedok Citizens' Consultative Committee launched this initiative on June 14, and about 1,000 "East Coast" cups have been distributed. The participating coffee shops offering this promotion include De Tian, Fu Man, Kopi Kia, 25 Brew Coffee, Foodhub, Kimly on Upper Changi Road, and 18 Brew Coffee on Bedok South Road.

Two coffee shop operators interviewed said that the initiative helps boost business but hope the authorities can increase publicity so more people are aware of the program.

Surprise, surprise! Mostly F&B cronies of the PAP regime.

In case you didn't know already, Citizens' Consultative Committee is the designated PAP group responsible for bribery and stirring shit in an area which the PAP had lost an election. Refer to Victor Lye and his goons.

Yes, this "offer" is restrictive and conditional. If I were WP, I'd provide free kopi all day on friday plus a free massage! People will need to top up the difference for happy ending.

Heng ah limpei don't drink coffee at all I drink fruit juice coconut water and green tea

Be careful coffee might contain bugs and roaches. New protein you make you smart like pap scholars

They didn't say what type of coffee? Kopi-O? Kopi-O gao? Normal kopi? Kopi si?

If kopi-o, can only save about 20 cents. Only the most dumbfark, cheapest of cheapos sinkies will go for it.

Still must pay $1 kopi? Is the KopiTiam boss a PAPPY cronies and those MPs are the PR tream?

East Coast Resident ish really 万福金安
Has many many good blessing de woh :)

wat east coast n marine parade pap teams r doing reminds me of ze aljunied team in 2011

SINGAPORE: Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo said the key strategy for the General Election is to have a good team that can relate to different segments of the population.

Mr Yeo, who is also MP for Aljunied GRC, hinted on the makeup of his team for the constituency.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a community event, Mr Yeo indicated that one of them will be the Assistant Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress, Ong Ye Kung.

Another is current MP for Marine Parade GRC Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim.

"They're the existing five Members of Parliament who are going to stand again, I think. Plus Ong Ye Kung, who's been attached to us, and Faishal, who comes with Kaki Bukit which is a new addition to the GRC," Mr Yeo said.

"Among these seven, five will stand as candidates for the PAP. That's my estimation."

Mr Yeo added there's a possibility that one of his current MPs Yeo Guat Kwang may be leaving the Aljunied GRC team.

"That's possible, because the portion which he is responsible for, most of it, is moving to Ang Mo Kio GRC," he said.

"A part of it is going to Pasir Ris, and the landed property side remains with us. But the majority of the people he looked after will be moving to Ang Mo Kio, so it's entirely possible that he may move out. But we don't know for sure until Nomination Day."

Mr Yeo also highlighted his plans to reach out to the residents - which he referred to as the "Living in Aljunied 10".

He calls it "KUAY TEOW Hot and Nice", with each letter representing a theme:

K for Kampong spirit, U for Upgrading, A for Ageing well, Y for Young families, T for Transportation, E for Eating and shopping, O for Our heritage and W for WIFI.

The 'H' and 'N' in Hot and Nice stand for Healthy living and Nature, respectively.

It is better than without $1 coffee.
Perhaps, the seven coffee shops may wish to consider $1 coffee or tea, every day for senior citizens, but only on Friadys for all other individuals.

The pappies seem to be extra siao on in those GRCs that they had narrowly won last election. There are things happening in West Coast too.
