After that comment, did you realise that:
1. He never spoke again on the elections.
2. His son came out to apologise, although the apology was supposedly not for that.
3. GY commented that the comment didn't help, whereas the apology did.
It appears that Singaporeans are finally growing some balls. :o
Or perhaps old wrinkled balls are being replaced by full vibrant ones.

We know await what the man in the cul de sac, got to say about this?, & his challange to LTK to compete in a GRC & the repentance for the people of HG & Aljunied GRC...btw!, the people of P.P. have repented & now they are in gory... ha ha ha soon! they will be shafted!...their ears will become deaf..even though, they say " will will listen to you"...PP pay for your sins!

The voters in Aljunied are pissed off with sneaky people like Cynthia Phua and Lim Hwee Hua. They have been acting in the most arrogant way for the past 10 years and their followers even more so, however Mr. Low and his team are in for a hard time, they have to show that they are a different breed to the voters of Aljunied from the clowns they displaced. I will not envy their uphill task ahead but they have taken the first step and we will be watching and scrutinising them. That said i have faith in them, especially Ms. Sylvia Lim. I hope they can bridge the divide between the camps of the different supporters here and move us and Singapore into a promising direction.

What trap? Its up to Mr Low to show fellow Singaporeans that WP can handle a GRC in the next 5 years, if they can, a few more GRCS will fall in the next Election. WP jiayou!!!
Conspiracy Theory: Old man playing the "good guy bad guy" game. First he screwed Aljunied to help lower the support level for PAP, then his son came out to be the good guy and got improved ratings overnight. This seems to herald a new era for his son to be out of daddy's shadow... old man probably quietly smiling there, plus the fact that GCT and clan is severely weakened and lost face in this election... his succession plan is now complete.
