Everyone is using one another at certain point of time. The SG govt might not know or not bother as long their own "benefits" are taken care of.

do you have statistics to prove your points that the almighty PRC prefers to get a peesai citizenship than to stay as a peesai PR?

do you know how long did Gong Li took before deciding she wants to get a peesai citizenship?

Come to think of it. Even Gong Li also become citizen. Seems that many PRCs will follow. The rejuvenation may just as well begun in view of the rapid aging population and extremely low national birth rate here.

This national problem of a rapidly aging Singapore population and extreme low birth rate now is essentially a very pressing problem.

The gahmen's strategy to extend citizenship to PRCs is indeed a necessary one albeit with some social consequences.

What should be another solution, then if not??

One of the reasons but definitely not the chief..... the main reason why these PRCs come here is because they know Singkieland is a goldmine where the peasants are easily conned.... and the gahmen that thinks they are santa claus freely giving away the peasants $$$
