He took her to the bushes beside a drain and raped her for nearly two hours. He fled while leaving her there, after fearing that the baby had died when she became unconscious.
Last Friday, an 11-month-old baby was abducted and raped by her neighbour for almost two hours nearby a drainage in the residential area of Vikaspuri in west New Delhi, India.
The 36-year-old suspect works at a New Delhi Police office and residential complex as a construction worker. The infant that was sleeping next to her mother in a makeshift shelter within the police housing complex was kidnapped around 10 pm.
The dry-heart criminal grabbed the opportunity when he saw the mother was sleeping soundly and ran to a nearby jungle with the baby. The mother immediately reported that the child had gone missing to the police at about 11pm.
The baby was found unconscious and covered in blood, according to the officers from the Vikaspuri police station.
She was sent to the intensive care unit in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.
