A Chinese woman having a child with a Causacian man...the child's race is EURASIAN in our NRIC
What about a Chinese man having a child with a Caucasian woman?

"Chinese" is not a race it is an ethnicity. Same goes for "Malay", "Indian" etc.

The Singapore courts will and can "mete out justice"....but "fair judgement" depends on you being on which side?

In inverted commas?

A Malay woman having a child with an Indian Man...the child's race is ???? in our NRIC.
The Singaporean convention is to follow the father. So the answer to your question is 'Indian'.
Of course, in a matrilear society, there's no reason why one can't follow the mum.
Ultimately, race and ethnicity are social constructions, but that's another topic altogether.
if Halimah Yacob's NRIC stated that she is an Indian, why was she the PAP's minority candidate for Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC which requires a Malay candidate ? PAP just make up the rules to suit themselves ?
Consistency is the operative word. If the state chooses to define race in a particular way for policy making and demographic purposes, then it has to abide by it in all situations. Then again, when was the PAP known for its integrity?

If you can remember on the basis of the formation of GRCs (after Potong Pair won by Chiam), you will now better appreciate why the sudden need for a reserved race EP election this time round.
"Race" is not a social construction it is biological.
Even if you accept the need for a reserved race EP, is there a need to morph and mangle the racial definition for 'Malay' to the extent that Indians, Pakistanis, Arabs and maybe even your pet corgi can be called a 'Malay'?

Who else you think now can come close to being a likely candidate wearing PAP pants...especially when you set such a high qualification bar on Malays too?
Disagree. Clines are biologically derived constructions. Race and ethnicity are socio-cultural constructions, and hence arbitrary to a certain degree.
And who raised the bar so high, pray tell?
