Why did he need to wear sunglasses indoors? I'm sure this bad habit contributed to his demise.

Walter Brecker or the group Steely Dan is not related to "England Dan"....which was England Dan & John Ford Coley.."England Dan" id Dan Seals the brother or Jim Seals...of "Seals & Croft"...

Most of these entertainers wear sunglass on stage etc..guess!, the lights affect their eyes....flash bulbs, strobe lights, halogen lamps etc..

Steely Dan's music is the ultimate in cool. No label quite sticks. They were just themselves, an unmistakable sound, impeccable instrumentation, complex arrangements that somehow seems just right, and inscrutable lyrics.
