I have read how some people have mentioned it's not due to the minorities that PAP is in power. Some of them even go 1 step further and say even if all the minorities vote against PAP they cannot change the result, so if for eg all malays vote against PAP nothing will change. This is obviously to excuse those non chinese from blame that voted the PAP.

Yet i have this to ask. Suppose one day a non pap govt gets voted in. Can all the credit go just to the chinese? I am sure this won't be the case, the minorities surely want to claim the credit.

Therefore i have a simple question to ask. Should the minorities be excused from blame if there are problems here but get the credit too when good things occur?

Our oppositions nationwide 33% votes suggest that they are losing by a very big margin in majority 75% Chinese votes.

Take for example Tampines GRC 2006 GE
PAP 80376 - 68.5% / SDA 36948 - 31.5%
This is a 37% margin win by PAP
SDA to win this GRC - 18.5% to get 50%+1
% of minorities in Tampines GRC? ( maybe someone can answer )
assuming 20% of minorities voted for SDA last GE ( no matter what there are some who voted for oppo )
18.5% > 31% minorities votes for SDA to win majority minorities votes ??

guess what those peoples really meant was even if majority of malays vote against PAP, nothing will change...

Okay but still every vote counts. Any small drop of water makes up a river or a lake i think there's some saying like this.

I guess the issue here is someone making the votes into racial terms. Everyone's vote counts towards either the pap or the oppo winning or losing.

That's what pisses me off is when PAP wins it's only the chinese fault. Yet if the pap loses i can bet that the minorities want to claim the credit.
