subject Fw: Enquiry on Public Utilities Act (Chapter 261) - Request for views"water splashing" in public places

Dear Mr Kojakbt

Thank you for your feedback on the "water splashing" festival organised by Bukit Batok Grassroots Organisation.

2 While the abovementioned 'water splashing activity' is similar to activities such as charity car wash events which do not require approval from PUB, we have since advised the organiser that no hoses or pails of water shall be used for the "water splashing activity" and to ensure that water is used frugally.

Thank you.

For car wash event, the water is used for car washing, so no wastage.

For water splashing event, the water is used for SPLASHING at others, so there is WASTAGE!

PUBic Hair Dept is saying it is ok to waste water as long as u do it frugally.

You have a point, I shall reply them...

How about water splashing event IS NOT A CHARITY event...

Er......correction......."as long as it is organised by gahmen." Period.

One country 3 systems.

One for elite PAP and supporters
One for FTs
One for lowly peasants

How about water splashing event IS NOT A CHARITY event...

But they will argue that water splashing is still a "community" event leh... good for the people... I mean in this case, good for "community integration"....
