Psychiatrist suspended for 10-year sexual relationship with patient

so doctors not suppose to have relationship?
if the patient is single and doctor is single, both are willing party, what's wrong?

If I'm not wrong, there is a window period. I think it is 3 years, then they can have a relationship.

if doctor and patient relationship not allow, then teacher and student ok?

how about other professionals who are not allow to have relationship?

Its well documented that those in helping professions eg shrink, therapists, social workers had sex with their patients. Better opt for chemical castration or be an incarnated Xuanzang (journey to the west Monk) if your patient is a chiobu.

KNN, me still don't understand why doctors, lawyers, principals and all the high fliers need to go to such extent. Tons of zha bohs waiting to spread their legs for this group of people.

Bro, you're also in the danger zone. The last I know you're still a student. Make sure you don't get into any sexual relationship with your Thai language teacher.:)

[h=2]Psychiatrist Kong Sim Guan suspended for having sex with his patient for 10 years[/h]Posted by temasektimes on July 25, 2012
Dr Kong Sim Guan, also known as Sim Heng Guan, a psychiatrist practising at The Psychiatric & Behavioural Medicine Clinic (Ang & Kong) at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre has been suspended by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for three years and fined $10,000 for having an improper sexual relationship with his patient for over 10 years.
Under SMC’s medical code and ethical guidelines, a doctor must not have a sexual relationship with a patient, or be involved in an adulterous relationship.
According to the SMC disciplinary committee, the patient was a psychiatric patient troubled by marital issues.
The three year suspension is the longest suspension meted out by SMC on a practising doctor. A former gynaecologist at Kandang Kerbau Hospital was suspended for two years for having sex with his patient.
Another gynecologist Dr Saifuddin Sidek of Sidek Clinic for Women was also suspended and censured for professional misconduct by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) in March this year for bringing a female patient to check into 3 different hotels.
