Where was the part about SG govt promising to take the companies involved to task?????

No sound and no peekture. Maybe because price is not right.

Re: NEA asks Indons to suppress forest fires immediately woh. hahahahha

Out of Sinkieland, the PAPpies can do shit! :oIo:

The same applies to most governments with the exception of the superpowers who have the financial and/or military might to influence external events.

If PSI reading at 300 continuously for the whole month. will Vivian still be in the peekture..???

or meekly he will say sorry and offer to step down..???

Re: NEA asks Indons to suppress forest fires immediately woh. hahahahha

I will put the things they need to do ( not necessarily in that order unlike what their pay increases had been which was always going up in that order!)

1) Economic sanctions
2) No more monetary aids in every other avenue.
3) allow more slush funds to come over here.
4) Tax their FTs heavily over here as compensation ( only applies to them)
5) Confiscate their assets of those Indon related companies who seek refuge here and are indirectly or directly responsible for the haze.

i dont think singapore is big enough to declare economic sanctions on anyone.......

u know what a better solution is?since their goal is the utter deforestation and destruction of their forests, why not we hire a billion dollar logging company,go in there and offer to clean the place up?i know some logging companies are highly efficient, can clear kilometers of forests in a week.....with any luck, the whole of indonesia's forestry will be gone in 3 years and global warming go up by 3 degrees and tsunami kills 1 or 2 million indonesians.....with 228 million to go.

Punches above its weight?

Wait. Let me go into a closet and laugh it out first. This was a uncontrollable reaction from your above statement.

Buy used submarine. Buy planes and upgrades that US does not want any more. Take in those FTs for defense where they are rejects in their own country.

Ever wonder why, when they spend BILLIONS of Sinkie dollars they could not even made a fighter plane from scratch on their own?

The order of the day is to line pockets. Their pockets to be precise.

ahahahahahahaha u think u can kill 230 million indonesians with ur tiny peesai 3.5 million pop country?it took russians 3 years to defeat the german army and it cost them 6 million russian lives,1.3 million russians died in battle of stalingrad alone.....and russia had a population of 100 million....ahahaha when 230 million indonesian monkeys surround u....it will be like a 10 man gang bang in changni prison.......they will be going in and out of ur asshole like japan tentacle porn.

we dont even have enough freaking bullets to kill 230 million indonesians....u think bullets fall from sky?lets say all the indonesians are free frags in counterstrike,it takes 2 to 3 bullets to kill one assuming u never miss......we will be out of bullets before we even kill 1 million indonesians.

As though the Indons give a shit.

i agree, lets not be self centered and ego centric alright, the Indonesians have been problems to worry about in their country.....half of them cant even find a place to bathe and shit in without the two coinciding with each other......yes they shit in the same river they bathe in.and their open air latrine is covered with green scum and algae and moss.i highly doubt they are going to worry about the quality of air ur breathing in singapore.

This is how some Indos earn a living:

http://jeffreydonenfeld.com/blog/2013/03/mining-pure-sulfur-in-the-smoking-crater-of-mt-ijen-java/

The life expectancy of the sulfur miners is 30. Do you honestly think the majority of Indos care about a bit of haze if there is money to be made?

To hell and back... every day: The choking sulphur mine where workers do 12-hour shifts at a LIVE volcano (and aren't expected to live beyond 30)

This is the grim sight that meets sulphur miners who are forced to scrape a living on the site of a live volcano.

And not surprisingly, the horrendous conditions are to blame for them having a life expectancy of just 30 years.

As these sobering pictures show, around 200 brave souls toil up to 12 hours a day at the top of Ijen volcano, in Indonesia.
The men - who earn just £3 a day - carry baskets of hardened yellow sulphur weighing 70 to 90kg up a steep rocky path from the crater floor around ten times a day.

Exactly. The poor there are trying hard just to survive so they couldnt give a shit about the haze here. The rich there are trying hard to get richer and also couldnt give a shit about the haze here. Either way the Indons dont give a shit.

Re: NEA asks Indons to suppress forest fires immediately woh. hahahahha

amazing this picture shows we are a tiny island of civilisation in a sea of monkeys and m&ds and orang lauts.

Let's just say that Singapore isn't as important to the Indos as you obviously believe.

Singapore is hardly the sole source of aid. Indo could easily get a lot more from the OZs in return for cooperating a bit more on the refugee issue. Slush funds can easily go elsewhere along with their FTs.

As for confiscation of assets if it means some top level army generals are left out of pocket, I can assure you that Indonesia can do a lot more harm to Singapore than vice versa.

Have you looked at a map recently? Perhaps it would give you a reality check. Remember that Indonesia extends all the way to and including the Riao Islands. You need to view this issue in the correct perspective.

Re: NEA asks Indons to suppress forest fires immediately woh. hahahahha

Warning today(Wednesday 8th Oct) the haze is very bad. The PSI is between 147 & 163.

Better take cover or use you masks:eek:

Re: NEA asks Indons to suppress forest fires immediately woh. hahahahha

I was in Batam last week & found out that no one there knew that the haze was at very unhealthy levels because they don't have any monitoring stations to measure the air quality there.

If you go to http://aqicn.org/map/ you will see that there is no air quality data for Indonesia.

Funny thing is that although there is monitoring going on in Spore, the PAP wants to ignore the problem & playing down the seriousness of the problem:(

then buy so many ammo and keep so many regulars for what..
