SINGAPORE: Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said the projected 6.9 million population by 2030 in the White Paper will serve as a basis for planning efforts to ensure sufficient capacity in the healthcare sector.

Eventually if the Gov't forced to keep population at 5.5 - 6 million because of ppl pressure but hv some infrastructure for almost 7 million, we will have excess capacity which means that we are not at an efficient cost level.

Anyway right now my daughter has to wait for 30+ minutes for a bus to come home in the evening because every bus is full, even when there are 3 different bus number which she can take. Can't manage 5+ million population properly now, how they can manage 6.9 million ?. LHL has admitted that they failed to plan effectively in the past, resulting in many problems today and causing daily problems to the people of Singapore. This will surely aggravate the fragile relationship between Singaporean & Foreigners living in Singapore. Singaporeans will surely exhibit ill feelings to foreigner workers and they will react in the same way. They will then sabo each other at work. Singaporeans now go on blogs and insult/curse foreign workers and they doing the same to us. Next we will hv Singaporean and Foreign workers street gangs killing each other.

I am very concern if this Gov't have the ability, capacity and foresight to plan for a future with 6.9 million people. Don't wear such a big hat if your head is not big enough. What white paper, it's just toilet paper. Go wipe your ass with it and flush down the toilet.
