Look at those safety aluminium railings along the roads, it looks so flimsy and serves no purpose in safety and protection.
Did LTA really check their qualified suppliers and the contractor's work? Or LTA just close both eyes and let the suppliers short change tax payers monies?

unfortunately, PAP's system is always to go for the cheapest. Quality and Service is not important. I have given up quoting in Govt tenders as there will always be guys quoting cheap.

HDB has been ordering China lifts since 2007/2008 even the Japan lift company Fujitec sell China made lift to HDB for more than 10 years. Mitsubishi from China started in 2019. For some reason HDB only give contracts to Hitachi lift from Thailand 2 rounds only for BTO.
