[h=1]PRC NATIONAL JAILED 9 MONTHS FOR SQUEEZING BREASTS OF 22 YR OLD COLLEAGUE[/h]

A PRC factory worker working here was sentenced to 9 months in jail on Friday for squeezing the breasts of a 22 year old Malaysian colleague.
The victim had just started working at the factory in Yishun last November, shortly before the incident happened.
Because she was new, her security pass had not been activated, therefore she asked the 27 year old PRC national to help her exit the premise.
Being the only other person left in the factory when the incident happened at about 8pm, the victim had to ask the culprit for help.
When she approached him for help, the man told her that he needed to wait for his phone to charge. She agreed and waited beside him.
While they were waiting, the man held onto the victim’s waist and when she pushed him away, he grabbed her hand and pulled her to his lap.
She then ran away but fell over. Later, she went back toward her office when the man followed her and then groped her breasts from behind.
At this point, the victim shouted at the man and managed to break free.
Giving up, the man finally let her leave by scanning his security card.
The victim reported the matter to the company and lodged a police report.
The Prosecutor had said that the man should be jailed for 9 to 10 months because he continually made unwanted advances at the woman despite his advances clearly being rejected.
There was also an element of confinement as she was trapped in the factor without his security pass to get our.
The defence counsel asked for a lighter sentence as the victim had already forgiven the man and he had apologized to her.
He could have been jailed for up to two years, fined, and caned for outrage of modesty.
