Lianhe Wanbao reported that a 29-year-old Chinese National was found sitting on the parapet of the 20th floor of Block 34, Upper Cross Street, at around 4pm.
She was seen with her legs dangling in mid-air and swaying from side to side.

Residents and eye-witnesses who were at the scene expressed shock and feared that any wrong move might cause her to plunge to death.
According to one of the residents who witnessed the saga, the girl seemed emotionally distressed.
She was also heard yelling and crying on her mobile phone while telling her boyfriend that "if he did not show up, she will jump". This lasted for half an hour.
The residents who heard her threats called the police immediately.
After a nerve-wrecking hour, the police, along with the Civil Defence Force, managed to rescue her and dragged her to her safety.
While all this was going on, around 200 people had gathered at the nearby shopping centres and overhead bridge to witness the commotion.
Some even went to the extent of waiting for her at the lift lobby so that they could take a peek at the person who caused such a big scene that afternoon.
The girl has been arrested for threatening to commit suicide and the reason behind her actions remains unknown.
