"Will you feed me forever" or more mildy, "will you take care of me forever" is a common question oriental girls (except Japanese) ask their suitors. Put in context, sometimes they're just seeking a promise and reassurance of love, but of course, many-a-times, they're seeking a financial commitment, golden harbour or nest.
Malay and Indian women seem to take a "yes" answer to "will you feed me forever" literally. Look at their sizes and weights by their mid-30s. Many of them are twice their husbands' sizes already. I mean no demeaning or disrepect. I think it's a matter of cultures. When Chinese, Vietnamese or Thai women ask that "feed" question, they usually mean a hell lot of more expensive stuff in mind than mere food.
