They include the Copthorne hotel group, Shangri-La, Raffles, Fullerton and Novotel.
Budget hotels are taking precautionary measures too.
When the pandemic alert turned yellow last Tuesday, staff of the seven-month-old budget hotel CityHub went out to buy thermometers and face masks.
'Upon hearing it, we went out to buy thermometers and face masks immediately. But we only managed to get one box of masks because they were all sold out,' said its general manager Karis Sun.
The Rendezvous and Furama hotels are setting aside rooms to quarantine guests who come from affected countries and are feeling unwell.
Last Wednesday, the Mandarin Oriental hotel banned two pork dishes in its Chinese restaurant Cherry Garden.
So far, none of the hotels has seen cancellations of bookings or events.
The Singapore Police Force held its 43rd dinner and dance at the Swisstel yesterday.
All the 900 guests there had to complete health declaration forms and clear scans for body temperatures.
