They have a right to moderate spam comments etc, but getting caught deleting good comments makes you look stupid.

I think everyone is aware that there are moderators and admins that look after their accounts. That does not absolve them in anyway. If he thought it was wrong, a comment or an apology would have been offered. This morning had an argument with a chap over the same excuse on why he should not be blamed for the deletion. As I told the chap, maybe he could not be blamed for the SMRT, and all the issues we have with this govt.
