The more pappies refuse to open book on temasick and GIC, the more people should worry.

I think once opposition wins more than 1/3 of seats, you will see the civil servants in MOF and admin service starting to protect their own asses and refuse to cooperate on pappies monkey businesses. That will be the time opposition can go in for the kill and demand open book on SWFs.

Even china's SWFs has more transparency than sinkieland's SWFs. Go figure.

This is shocking news. I always thought Singapore was free of corruption. I'm gutted to find out that the political party I have supported 100% all these years is no better than Malaysia and Indonesia when it comes to cronyism.

Junkets of this nature are common place in the private sector. However, to find out that a taxpayer funded organisation that is supposed to be devoted to making the lives of Singaporeans better have decided that their own lives take precedence over the community they are supposed to serve.

Is this just the tip of the iceberg? Only time will tell.

Many years back, one "last leaf" told us that it is not for us to know the books of GIC &/or teamarsick! We could wish for that transparency once that "leaf" fall from the tree?? could we? are are we going to wait for a forest of trees to fall, & find out that "termites" had eaten into them, when many get to "see" their CPF monies??
