I am informed that wrong information was given to primary schools and childcare children on cleaning and caring for the polyester and pvc faceshield.

The claimed "anti-fog" property is almost non-existent after a few washes with mild soap, affecting students and teaching staff. Most teachers gave up wearing faceshields by now.
 
How much was spent on these shields?
