It's easy enough for them to get transparent litter bins but then they will need to hire people to clear them.

It is!! only to fine SINgaporeans, where they would not show maximum restrain....you will notice, when they give out "goodies" time & when their bonus are on the way...JULY!! coming or December coming.....they become very busy & start cuming!!

NEA actually outsourced these jobs to Cisco and Aetos in plain clothes. They will hide in corners and remove the rubbish bins at SMRT and Bus interchanges and bus stops to ambush smokers who throw the cigarette butts on the ground when they cannot find the rubish bin. My friend was caught in this way. He told me that its their modus operandi.

They should go to Serangoon Rd, Serangoon Plaza area, where Mustafa is & the open Spaces near the Mosque ( Indian) & you can swat litterbugs by the dozens in a minute, like flies atop a cow dung!!

These NEA officers are damn lazy 5 in 1 hr....then again, "little India" must show retrain & most likely the 'flies' there are inebriated & may go on a riot or even SWAT the NEA officers in return.

The biggest littering (and air pollution) are by people burning joss papers on the road side/HDB car parks & pavements but nothing is done to stop them.

I notice that nowaday it is harder to find litter bins especially in MRT stations. I have also seen litter bins overwhelmed when they are not cleared regularly.

You throw onto the floor, you pay. You throw into rubbish bin, they pay.
