These two women were openly chewing bubblegum and blowing bright pink bubbles while travelling on a train.

Here's what the unhappy STOMPer wrote in an email today:

"I was on the MRT (Red Line) on the way to City Hall Station with my fiance when we chanced upon these two ladies who were competing with each other to see who could blow the bigger bubble with their bubble gum.

"At first glance, it is obvious that they had violated two rules - eating inside the MRT and consuming chewing gum.

"I was about to get the SMRT staff's attention but the two ladies had already alighted at Toa Payoh.

"I just hope they disposed of the gum properly and did not cause inconvenience to others.
