When I was in Sec 3, a few classmates and me caught a wild python. We proceeded to chop off its head, drink its blood, and cook (baked) its meat. We took photos and had great fun through the event. Later, my uncle (then a lecturerat Poly) found out about it and scolded me for being stupid - it could've been diseased and its blood could be carrying parasitic tapeworm eggs. I guess it wasn't such a smart thing to do after all. If you need to eat wild game, eat only itsmeat - cooked.

Cheers!

Wow secondary 3 you already so garang like the commando . Make those NS man look like Boy Scout .

I don't know about this "garang" thing and how we term people who are so, I guess in modern urban life, consuming anything not sold as food in a regular supermarket is. BUt back in my childhood. eating snakes, reptiles, frogs, wild birds was normal to my dad and uncles when they caught or trapped them. Visiting them in their homes, often would come across some poor animal caged and later to be served at dinner - I've had civet cats, flying foxes, turtles, monitor lizards, wild boar, etc. Frog skinning was quite a funny event, when the rattan basket was opened, those critters hop out in a frenzy to escape and the people present have to be quick to prevent it, and it is enjoyable laugh at those who are squeamish of these amphibians who shriek and run away instead.

Cheers!

u.s. marines and airborne rangers trained in south korea and thailand have complete respect for their peers from these two cuntries. in military exercises in s. korea, if korean controllers were to catch any american soldier in the open, the american would be stripped naked and left to fend for himself and find his way to base. they know they can rely on s. korean and thai troops in times of war. they don't have very high regards for sinkie boys.

NS days got jungle survival training. Some of my friends also drank uncooked blood of small birds, snake etc. If caught long term hidden diseases, will SAF pay their medical bills?
