Philippine SWAT Team storm bus with hostages in Manila

The ones who can pose and smile in front of that hijacked bus are fuckin insensitive and that just shows how nonchalent their attitudes are towards these incidents. Simply disrespect for the grieved and to the dead.

The president Mr Aquino, when you see him giving interview right after the incident, you can see him smirking as though nothing has happened. The least you would expect him is to be solemn and regretful over what happened.

When you see Police trying to charge in the bus without any plan or strategy, you know there are hostages who are going to die because of their rashness.

The catalyst is not how cruel this hijacker is but how ineffective the leading man all the way down to the policemen who actually showed us what the real Phillipines is all about

Good God ...... 10s of thousands are pouring into Singapore. Are true blue singaporeans to be influenced to act like this ???:(

Re: Plane carrying 8 bodies arrives in HK

As much as conceding the demands of hijackers are wrong, it might have saved the eight Hong Konger lives. After all, police can pretend to concede to his demands and arrest him once he stepped out of the bus. I am not exactly sure about how the police functions in this situation, so pardon my naivety.

I am not exactly sure why the police bungled up the storming, but I can guess an alternate reason instead of incompetency, that is, they were unwilling to shoot their former colleague. Suspicious why that guy threw the light stick, as though warning the hijacker of their presence.

If this hijacker is in Singapore, the moment he steps at the door entrance, the snipers would have killed him. I wonder why they allowed him to walk in walk out and furthermore he is armed with an assault gun.
If the snipers can take aim at him while he is in the bus, I don't understand why they didn't take a shot at him when he was out near the entrance early on.

The police tried to be compassionate to him but indirectly caused the death of 8 others.

Two reasons:

1. Pure incompetence

2. Showing leniency to a former colleague.

Exactly. Singapore has strict no-negotiation policy. Just kill them.

The commandoes would not be told about what's up. Only the commander officers.

The commanding officers assess and order the commandoes what to do and they carry out orders.

In case police is deploy, of it's SOC (former PTF) instead of SAF commandoes.

Who decide who to deploy, of course the ministers.

Who decide who are the ministers, of course the voters.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - AUGUST 24: Buddhist monks pray after a hostage stand-off that resulted in the death of 8 hostages and the gunman on August 24, 2010 in Manila, Philippines.

Firstly, these are NOT MONKS!! They are Buddhist NUNS !!!

If the reporter (Pinoy??) can't even see properly to differentiate Nuns from Monks, then that'll probably explain why they so pak jiao in executing the rescue..

God save us from these inept people.. :oIo:

They broke the windows but I didn't see them throw tear gas into the bus?

At one point, the hijacker was shooting wildly in the bus.

They broke the window and the first intention was to hold up one of their colleagues close to the window to shoot at the hostage taker. But he was too heavy and 2 officers failed to hold him up. Then one guy threw in a luminance stick so that the hostage taker can see more clearly the situation.

Another funny part was one of the SWAT team hitting the door using the sledge hammer and it slipped his hands and flew into the bus!!!

I really shake my head, it is a wonder that with all these delays, the gunman did not kill all his hostage.

From news report, even after autopsies were done, investigators were unable to ascertain if the bullets found on the dead bodies of the hostages were from the gun of the hijacker or the police.

Those nursing students smiling and posing for photos with the bus in the background are disgusting.

It makes me even more sick to think that most of the nurses in our public hospitals come from the same ilk and probably many in the photos will be "serving" (or screwing up your medication/treatment in the near future)..

With so many Pinoys in this red dot,the future is grim.

That's why there is no pinoy at Geylang.

Nonsense..! Every gun leaves its own distinct barrel markings on the bullet.. as long as the pistols and M16 used by the hijacker can be obtained and samples of bullets fired from its barrels, these weapon's bullets can be compared back to those found on the victims.. any bullet in the bodies found not matching to the etchings from the hijacker's weapon's discharged bullets will be those from the raiding police weapons.. = Case closed, and the Pinoy police wil be guilty of reckless weapons discharge n endangering the victims lives, n not to mention about lying on this point too... :oIo:

CSI tv show sometimes show real fact too...

So what's the beef here man!?

You guys keep complaining about how our traitorous government let in these inferior people into our shores by the thousands every single fucking day......competing with us for jobs we can do and poisoning our society with their corrupted and primitive way of life.
What can complaining here change this fact? Will the PAP dogs check this forum daily to find out what the typical Singaporean is feeling about their administration of the country? Even if they do, do you think it is in their interest to change this fact for our benefit?

Do you think that the PAP will be booted out in the next coming GE, given how they have change political landscape of Singapore to their benefit? Basically these white shirt scumbags will reign forever and will pass whatever legislation they have in mind with ease given the unicarmeral system, weak opposition and a dog president.

If you guys are really so unhappy with the government and you want to change the future of Singapore, you need to take to the street and let the whole world know how the PAP has betrayed Singapore for a few cheap dollars. Show some violence to these opportunistic foreigners and let them know that they fucked with the wrong bull:oIo:

the policeman actually knows 'yi yang zhi' or 'liu mai sheng jian'

so dun laugh

Reporting from Hong Kong — The bodies of eight Hong Kong tourists killed in a bus hijacking siege in the Philippines were returned home Wednesday on a government-chartered flight as the city of 7 million pulsated with anger and frustration.

Henry Tang, Hong Kong's chief secretary for administration, placed white wreaths on the caskets as bagpipers played. Several survivors of Monday's hostage drama and family members of the slain victims were also on the plane home. One seriously injured teenager remained in a Manila hospital, and a female gunshot victim was to be transported home on a separate medical flight.

A large number of Filipinos live in Hong Kong, many of them working as live-in maids and nannies. Concerned about possible acts of retribution, Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang recorded video messages urging calm.

"This is a moment that we all have to act sensibly and to behave in a civil manner. I understand the strong feelings and sentiments within the community," Tsang said in a Facebook video. "But I also know for sure that the nearly 200,000 Filipino nationals who are working in Hong Kong, who are settled in Hong Kong, feel exactly the same way as everybody else about this incident."

If you've worked with pinoys you will know they are very chinchai people. In a way it makes them friendly and non threatening. Excellent for customer facing roles. But for important tasks I will never rely on them. Their fun loving attitude will result in disaster.

This hostage rescue operation is just proof of my stereotyping.
