To Ms Tin Pei Ling:

We all strongly believe that you, Ms Tin Pei Ling does not have what it takes to be a Member of Parliament but you are in Parliament because of the flaws in the Group Representative Constituency system. Many more qualified candidates from both the Opposition and from the PAP have fought hard in this election but are not in Parliament to represent us. We all want the best candidates to represent us in Parliament. As such, we present this official petition with 100 000 signatures to call for your resignation as a Member of Parliament. We want your resignation to pave the way for a by-election with the possibility of allowing Mr George Yeo to make a come back and represent us in Parliament and to continue to serve as our Foreign Minister. We trust you will also agree with PM Lee that Mr Yeo has an important role to play in our country and that we should not allow his talents to go to waste.
