<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->I AM writing to express my concern over the latest strike in India, which also affects customers in Singapore.
StarHub should at least have done something for us. We pay for all the Indian channels we subscribe to, and all we get are repeat programmes shown over and over because of the commotion in India.
StarHub should at least give a waiver for channels 41, 42, 90 and 91 until fresh programmes are resumed. Why should we pay to watch repeats?
I spoke to Ms Betty, a manager with StarHub. She suggested I remove all Hindi channels and restore them later when everything is back to normal. But if I do that and the fresh programmes are resumed, I may miss my favourite programmes. She also suggested a $4 waiver on the set top box. These suggestions are not satisfactory. StarHub should waive at least three weeks of charges. It is almost two weeks since the strike began.
