Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugan, speaking in Parliament on the banning of three foreign Islamic preachers last year, says it is neither automatic nor a right - but a privilege - for foreigners who want to enter Singapore.
"It will only be granted if we assess that his entry will not harm Singapore’s interests," he adds.
