With immediate effect, LTA should appoint Mr. Loh and the Worker's Party executive committee to run all train services in Singapore,including SMRT. If the govt, will even devote just 10% of the resources that they devote to other WP run affairs, SMRT will be constantly scrutinized to no end. Hordes of govt civil servants, lawyers, accountants and other assorted porlumpars will be crawling all over a WP run SMRT looking for the slightest fault and going thru everything with a fine tooth comb. this is exactly what is needed at SMRT now. And unfortunately, will never be done because of its close ties to Whore Jinx, the PAP, and the elitist ex SAF scholar system. For the sake of a stable and reliable SMRT and train services, we need this level of oversight. Mr. Loh should propose this at the next Parliamentary sitting.

This won't do, LTK will get a stroke like Chiam, for the entire SMRT & management will be non-coppoerative, they will become a 'clam' & just shut up. What they are doing now, is like in the SAF, getting the men to search for "enemies" in the 'bushes", they will find things all right, non-conquential ones & maybe get a 'few stragglers'; who, they will parade & trumpet, that, they have caught the 'enemy'. But in reality it is just another wayang, after it had died down, the system will rum smoothly for a time & sooner or later, it will start to breakdown again. It is just trying to get rid of bed bugs, lice & ticks. You need to 'fumigate' the entire system or 'burn the hosts'.

To do that, the people of Singapore will have to sit up, take a good look & survey what is happening & decide. The decision will be to vote the PAP down to an opposition party, open up the 'rotting system' & renew the country...MAKE SINGAPORE GREAT AGAIN.

LKY did an exemplary job in running this country, that made Singapore great, the legacy that he has left behind is fast eroding away, Singapore need, new people, with new ideas & the fire in the belly to run this country. Not the same 'old wine' in a new label. The 'wine' is turning flat & into vinegar.

What the difference? they are all money "mercenaries" the PAP & all their kakis are in there for the money too, the paper generals & kawans etc..

The responsibility lies not only with the workers, the leadership & all the way to the top, that is the transport minister & all to the ruling party that runs this nation.

What is the use of pulling all the weeds from the garden, when soon after, it will grow back, for the land is already useless, you have to scorch the earth, plow the land, re-soil, & regrow.

That means going to the polls & 'scorch the earth'...given the Sinkingporeans mentality...they will just ' pull the weeds' out, while the much tenacious 'weeds' , those at the top are left intact & allowed to propagate & sooner or later, the 'land' gets overrun with the common 'garden variety weeds' again.

That is the problem...do we have to wait till, a major train mishap that involves lives that Sinkingporeans, sit up & take note?????

Tan Chuan Jin was quoted as saying " Manila graduates can do Singaporeans’ jobs for a quarter of their pay"-so why not turn to the great foreign talents from Pinoyland and invite them here to run SMRT for a 1/4 of the cost!

In fact why not hand SMRT to Pinoys and SBS Transits to the fantastic foreign talents from India -as our govt and employers think so highly of them.
How come none of the minsters are suggesting using foreign talents
There also a lot of people here praising the PRC's to the sky-so I suggest giving all future train lines for PRC's to run.
