This is why its important for parents to educate their kids about FTs, the social problems that they bring in, how Singapore used to be, the state of affairs now and how is it going to affect their future etc. in plain simple language that they can understand. I always wonder whether any Sinkie parents do that and how they do it.

I've tried to educate my nephew and nieces about the evils of FTs etc but then I realize although I love them and have their best interest at heart, they are ultimately not my kids and their parents might not like it

I do not allow my kids to watch local dramas.The only thiing they watch on the free chanels are Korean or Hong Kong dramas.

After all the brainwashing in schools, they need to see the real world through exposure to foreign movies/dramas.
