Your daughter first
My whole family are patriots. Unlike you, we will never flee.
Your daughter first
At 6.9 mm better to use the russkies std of 7.62... That way can use their ammo..but in turn they can use yr ammo too...but right now...I was told Yankees special ops use the ak47 In enemy territory so easier to get ammo etc...so better 7.62 than 6.9...no point using odd ball weird ammo where there will b a shortage...i’ve been advocating increasing the caliber to 6.9mm.
same caliber doesn’t automatically translate to same cartridge, same chamber, and or same bore and or firing pin type and mechanism. there’s a difference between a bullet and a cartridge just as there’s a difference between rimfire and centerfire. At 6.9 mm better to use the russkies std of 7.62... Ok just use basically wat the enemy uses ...same caliber doesn’t automatically translate to same cartridge, same chamber, and or same bore and or firing pin type and mechanism. there’s a difference between a bullet and a cartridge just as there’s a difference between rimfire and centerfire.
various cartridge sizes of rifles translate to corresponding chamber lengths and shapes. for the 7.62 caliber, there are already more than 3 different types of cartridges: 7.62x39mm, 7.62x40mm, 7.63x51mm, 7.62x54mm.

there are also different firing mechanisms and pin positions, although rifles are usually equipped as centerfire and shotguns are typically equipped as rimfire. also, some smaller caliber firearms are also equipped as rimfire.

cannot just anyhow humtum change rounds on different 7.62 rifles and sexpect it to work. that’s bs urban legend spewed like veteran truths on the internet.

Great minds think alikedon’t know. looks good though.
if in hostile territory like in middle east, africa, and former soviet states, most likely 69% of 7.62 ammo are made in prc copying ak-47 type from soviet blocs. so yes better to use the same copycat weapon as it’s not only most abundant but most abandoned with so many dead fighters lying around leaving their ak-47s and ammo behind.Ok just use basically wat the enemy uses ...
What a fucking stupid analogy. U chow NS issit? Seems like u know nothing about soldiering. The standard US Army issue M4/M16 is far superior to AK-47. With the standard scope, it will drop enemy at 500m and beyond. The AK-47 with iron sights will be lucky to hit something at 250m to 300m with any sort of accuracy. Not to mention you can easily tag on a M203 grenade launcher, all sorts of laser, night scopes, etc. The AK no run horse. If you are out of ammo, trapped behind enemy lines with no chance of resupply, then u use enemy weapons, of course. And not only pick up their AKs, but their RPGs and grenades too. That is SOP. The enemy will do the same if the table was turned.if in hostile territory like in middle east, africa, and former soviet states, most likely 69% of 7.62 ammo are made in prc copying ak-47 type from soviet blocs. so yes better to use the same copycat weapon as it’s not only most abundant but most abandoned with so many dead fighters lying around leaving their ak-47s and ammo behind.
The issue is the yanks might change to a larger calibre...the 5.56 might go obsolete n once the yanks change the calibre the whole world will follow..
You are right the Ukrainians and Russians were using cold-war era stockpiles of Warsaw-pact ammo like no tomorrow! Some of which was flawed but they have been able to re-supply plenty fast.if in hostile territory like in middle east, africa, and former soviet states, most likely 69% of 7.62 ammo are made in prc copying ak-47 type from soviet blocs. so yes better to use the same copycat weapon as it’s not only most abundant but most abandoned with so many dead fighters lying around leaving their ak-47s and ammo behind.

But you don't walk into a fight using the same weapon as the enemy. Because it gives you no tactical advantage. You walk in with a superior assault rifle like the M4 and when there is no other option, then you pick up anything that will shoot at the enemy.

ballistics played a role in afghanistan where u.s. forces were “outgunned” by heavier 7.62 rounds. it’s not only in the news but my american veteran buddies who fought in afghanistan have been sharing in privacy and candidly. “superior” rifle weaponry in an insurgency cannot overcum physics and mass hail of heavier bullets. in enfilading situations from hills to bases heavier rounds go further and more deadly, especially when 7.62 is used to mass snipe. there’s an admission by us army officials in pentagon that to snipe back longer than 699m (what ak47 rounds can traverse) u,s. snipers use the m14ebr with 7.62 rounds to reach 800m.
Your so call american veteran buddies are full of shit. More likely they are weekend national guard fuckers who never went to Astan. How many Taliban got scope on their AK-47? Non. With iron sights, u will be lucky to hit anything at 300m. In order for someone to successfully snipe with a iron sight AK-47 at ranges greater then 400m, they must be an exceptional shot and not the norm. When I say snipe, I am talking head shot at 400m. With an M4 and ACOG scope, 500m hits is possible for an ordinary soldier. Heavier bullets are useless if they cannot hit anything accurately beyond 300m. There is a reason why the US and NATO switched from 7.63mm to 5.56mm more then 50 years ago.https://www.military.com/kitup/2010/03/us-army-outgunned-by-afghan-insurgents.html

The Cold War era of stockpile ammo has mostly been used up already. The Americans were buying tons of that stuff for the Iraqi army they were equipping after Desert Storm, and before that for the Mujahiddin to fight the Russians in Astan. The stockpiles left in ex Soviet bloc countries have mostly been stolen and sold off long ago. The Ukrainians are using small arms ammo made in western countries, and the russians are using small arms ammo made in china. You are right the Ukrainians and Russians were using cold-war era stockpiles of Warsaw-pact ammo like no tomorrow! what national guard? this quote was from then col. tamilio, who headed the peo group for the us army responsible for developing, fielding, and sustaining new army weapons in 2015. he was most likely referring to the 7.62x54mmr svd rifle (basically a souped up ak-47 with scope).Your so call american veteran buddies are full of shit.
