A PAP COMMUNITY Foundation education centre principal pocketed school fees collected from various students and used the money to repay her father's debts.

To cover her misdeeds, Tan Soon Kim paid for the printing of five books containing the words 'Official Receipt', and issued them to deceive students and their parents into believing they were genuine.

Yesterday, the 28-year-old was sent to prison for 20 months, after admitting to two charges of misappropriation and three counts of forgery for the purpose of cheating at her workplace at Block 257, Bishan Street 22.

Clearly this Principal isn't pay well enough $$$, to deter corruption.

If this kindergarten was run by the oppositions, the 154th will certainly print it front page & the 'song birds' in parliament will sing it for months... but members...low key!:p

least of all, it is not east to be PCF principal, one must have connections & be member also....for it not only covers kindergarten duties, but party matters as well.....wasn't she throroughly screened...and very well paid??

When the top goes corrupt, the bottom will just follow. This principal is only a minute of many examples still at large and uncaught. I wonder how many people in the civil sector are having a good time now without being caught.
