that is one way to sustain the economy and jobs.
if they do not do it,those people in the construction industries will be jobless.

Dig a hole fill a hole communist economic theory like the Great Leap. The money could have been spent to really build gardens and nice plants in Singapore. More real greenery cools the country, beautifies the country, relieves stress of citizens, increase oxygen levels and helps clean the air. Since the renovations are meaningless noisy and stress causing, plants and flowers are the right thing and more real good FTs will come. This is the time to hire HDB gardeners.
