What really happened was she went with child in hand to WP HQ which is just a street across French Road where she lived. However, WP HQ is for general and national politics discussion, not empowered to act for residents there (Moulmein-Kallang GRC) on personal and family matters. Her ward division is under Edwin Tong. LTK wasn't there that day and there was nothing else we could do but advised her to see Edwin at his MPS.

I don't know what Edwin said to her. The following week, she and her child ended up in Bedok Reservoir. Bedok Reservoir may be geographically or gerrymanderically under Aljunied GRC but it's not administered under Aljunied TC. It's administered under ENV.

1. did the WP ppl redirected her, or did infact inform the MIW or their runners that there is such a case seeking help? So that they can followup.
2. did the Edwin guy actually communicated with the lady in person or his runners did the communication?
3. was there any communication at all btw the lady and MIW/runners?

The fault lies in this fat prick Seah Hock Rong who made some cheeky comments about the sudden increase of suicides in Bedok Reservoir eversince his beloved PAP were kicked out there.. I feel that its irresponsible of him as a PAP grassloot leader to make a lame joke at the expense of all those people who perished inside the waters of Bedok Reservoir..

It's a valid question. If the suicides rates have, in fact, gone up since the election. A COI should be commissioned to find out who is to blame. If it is revealed that the WP is the root cause of the problem, then steps need to be taken to address the issue. Perhaps the WP dream team have not been treating residents well at the "meet the people" sessions and they've left even more upset than when they arrived.

If all those threads about meeting PAP/WP before the lady drown herself are not poking fun/joking, I don't know what are...

I just find those cheeky comments, which made fun of the events leading to the tragic case, leave a bit of a bad taste in the mouth.

Equally, Mr Sear's postings are in the same vein on linking suicides cases to WP taking over the GRC.
He must be dense, insensitive or both.
