<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->I WISH to highlight my experience at this year's Formula One and hope the authorities would make improvements to make it more enjoyable.
I drove to Marina Bay to watch the race. On my way there, there were signs to indicate how many parking spaces were available in the various shopping malls.
As I walk with a crutch after my recent operation, I decided to park at Raffles City. At that time, there were many parking spaces available.
I proceeded to the Padang with my family. Ours were walkabout tickets. Although they may not be expensive, I paid $68 each for my family members.
Like many others, I didn't mind having to stand and watch the race, unlike holders of grandstand tickets. But imagine my disappointment when I realised I could not see the cars at all - I could only hear the engines roar.
I know I did not pay much, but I did not go there just to hear the roar of the engines.
The only way to see the cars was to climb and stand on top of the barriers - that too, if you were lucky to be in front.
I hope the authorities can think of ways to improve our enjoyment, for
example by placing platforms to elevate the ground level so more can enjoy the race.

Landless peasants who can't afford to pay premium prices should stay in their HDB flats and work hard so that the elites can earn enough to enjoy events like this.

I don't understand this man.
Is he such a fan of F1 that he had to attend the race on crutches?
Or was he trying to keep up with the Joneses?

If you did not pay for seated tickets you cannot see the cars .

Standing tickets are like herded pigs within a cage .

If fact all the cheap tickets could have sponsored the whole event .

He probably took his kids along to experience the novelty. When you are a poor landless peasant in Singapore, your entertainment options are severely restricted.

Yup you can just have simple tastes and remain humble. Concurrently you start to rise in taste towards riding high moral horses because your sense of human morality is experiencing an irreversible phase of artificial inflation that favors the steepening of your preconceived notions against capitalism and capitalists alike.

Take that as a social exercise to sharpen your sense of hearing. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. See? There is a positive side to every negative situation!

Haha I apologize for the prehistoric fucking of an apparent local overachiever but I wasn't really aware of the date as I just clicked on a thread from the suggestion box below.
