You are fortunate in the sense you have the extra money to indulge in your hobby. You are blessed.

But please be considerate. Do not modify your car so that its engine gives out loud noises. The noise pollution will disturb people, including the sick, old and young children.

In European countries, ultra rich owners of sports cars are very mindful not to create noise pollution. It seems like Asians are really lacking behind in social grace.

If you are considerate to the well-being of other people, it shows you have the class to go along with the wealth. This will reflect well on yourself. And surely, God will reward you even more. Who knows, HE might reward you with even more riches materially and non-materially.

If you know anyone who drives a modified car that generates excessive noise, please tell him/her to be more considerate.

Thank you.

Here it is mostly the motocycles that are modified that make a lot of noise. I live on the 10 floor and many times at night especially I hear these bikes accelerate and the noise can be heard even when they are quite far off.

here ah........people no taste and class one.........

engine only got 4 cylinders also put 4 exhaust pipes..........big big one some more........

Actually, the funniest mods in SG are spoilers, especially those GT wing types. Do those people who place them on knows that 1) they are creating unnecessary drag and 2) they need to be driving really fast, lile above 150km/h or more before it becomes useful? It gets really funny when you see it on cars with barely 100bhp or so and you know they will probably never hit those speeds

Not true angmo countries also got loud motorcycles and cars too. Plus noisy buses too.

P.S. God is not your personal ATM machine. If you do something good He will reward you is plain rubbish. If you haven't accept Jesus as your savior, no matter what good you do you will still go to hell. Romans 1:17.

Look for Jesus! He can help you to deal with your emotions and reject external noises and diversions in life.

I never understood why people bother to spend a fortune to mod their piece of shit cars.

I think only lower class, insecure people do that because they can't afford the nicer cars, so hey, look at my flashing LED lights, my custom wheel rims, listen to my loud engine and be impressed with me.

You just dun understand. People dun want to follow the crowd and drive the same and boring standardized vehicles. If they can customize them they will feel unique. Look at all the different mobile phones covers people have. It is not about insecurity but more about personalization.

A Harley is just as noisy as those pesky Beng motors.....
Likewise a lambo or Ferrari also louder than the modified fake honda type Rs

I think there are restrictions to maximumn noice level output be street legal vehicles, both motorbikes and cars, somewhere in the vicinity of 80 to 90 decibels (which is pretty loud). The problem that exists is that some of the expensive high end exotic sports cars and harley-davidsons may exceed this and be deemed illegal if it is enforced.

Back in the seventies, a traffic cop pulled me over and I was escorted to some facility in Middle Road to have my bike examined for "smokey" exhaust. I argued that my machine was a two-stroke engine and exhaust smoke was normal, nevertheless I had to go through the process and was given a letter to detune the "smokiness". I brought the machine to the mechanic who said that the ROV talk cock, this is a two-stroke bike.

Cheers!

personalisation means making ur engine retardedly loud?if these people truly didnt want to follow the crowd they would be wearing spandex and riding road bikes to work everyday and eating vegetarian and drinking soursop.

there is nothing wrong when you hear the engine. it only prove thatyou r still alive. just look at old fart. any moment now he cant hear or smell anything so he is prolly sh1tting in his pants now worried tomorrow mau never cum.

The next funniest thing is that they put in the most expensive petrol in their tanks.
