owl tries to take a free ride in a packed MRT train

An owl found its way into Toa Payoh MRT station and surprised commuters this morning. STOMPer Chun Seng spotted the bird clinging on to a panel in the underground station.

The STOMPer recounted the incident:

"I was on my way to work when I saw a commotion at the MRT station.

"I couldn't make out what it was at first.

"Upon a closer look, it was an owl hanging by a leg on a panel!

"Concerned that the owl could fly into a crowded train and cause chaos, the MRT staff acted quickly.

"It was finally caught with the help of a friendly commuter and the staff took it away in a box.

"The owl wasn't hurt in the process."

The owl was on the verge of suicide. It was planning to land right in front of the train to claim insurance. Owl also read ST. People jump, owl also follow suit.
