[Mr Leong Mun Wai withdraws (twice) his call for independent inquiry]
Mr Leong Mun Wai had in Parliament, asked for an independent inquiry into AGC and the Police.
I told him we will be prepared to have such an inquiry and asked Mr Leong to let us know what questions he had, what areas were troubling him - so that we can decide on the COI.
He didn’t know.
He then agreed that there was no need for COI.
Some hours later, Mr Leong again asked for a COI.
After some discussion, he again agreed that he didn’t know why he wanted a COI, and agreed that there was no need for a COI.
