Serious Oppie Botak Investigated For Holding Up Israel-hamas Sign At Speakers' Corner!

The thing he do wrong is openly challeng Good Hands in Paradise Island
Gilbert Goh is against terrorism, so he urges Hamas to release the Israeli hostages.
He is against retaliation that harms the Palestinian civilians, so he urges Israel to stop.
He is promoting peace - not war.
So my conclusion is that Gilbert has done absolutely no wrong!

PAP does not want the citizens to express themselves. Look what happened to hongkie. Freedom to riot until economy suffered.
Personal expression is every citizens right. We have to push for such rights. It is not up to PAP to like it or not.

Should have held up a dead shitskin baby recently sent to jannah by the IAF if he wants to advocate for muh peace and muh pacifism

The Govt doesn't want opposition of any kind from other political parties and the electorate. Remember that ex-PM Goh Chok Tong once declared that the ruling party doesn't need an Opposition to be a check and balance on them since they are fully capable of being their own checks on excessive power. Look at where SG is now? For a developed country, only 20% of the population live in private homes. The remaining 80% live in public housing which they don't even own since they are mere lessors of the units which belong to the HDB.

Now the people will check on the govt, not opposition.

The insignificant nobody me do agree that Mr Gilbert Goh is only exercising his freedom of speech & expression.

However, Freedom is a power & comes with responsibilities to others sharing our space. We are a multi-cultural Nation, & these are sensitive times which had unhinged many mentalities, polarized views, & the last thing we need is a repeat of the horrific days of the 60s in Singapore.

Holding a cardboard is NOT going to resolve anything. There are better ways, such as using legal channels in Democratic Singapore to express one's view - thru ELECTED legislators, to consolidate & rationalize all views & then make use of Parliament to find a path forward, if it not already done by our Elected Leaders.

It's ok to take sides & each has their own view - ignorant or well informed views. It is good to discuss & debate PEACEFULLY - so that we will either be changed by wise viewpoints or change others with better & pragmatic views. And such can done thru daily interaction of others, at school, at work or at play, should one choose to do so.

It is about standing one's right and the authority has to respect it. This should be the way of a civilized society. The ability to resolved it or not is secondary. Creating awareness and pushing for the citizen's right to expression is primary.

lol if holding up a sign can lead to world peace, all the defense weaponry companies all go bust liao la

Botak is better off working in McDonald’s and contributing to society instead of being a useless pest! I see McDonald’s getting really short handed and going around recruiting. They could do with more help for sure.
