While I appreciate the criticism of LKY, I totally oppose the abolishment of the death penalty. One day when we manage to stand up and free ourselves from the chains of PAP, it will be tremendously important as a tool for exacting some sort of justice for everyone. Although a singular death might not suffice. We will need to reinstate the chinese tradition of executing 9 generations.
Stupid. His own country copied Singapore to implement mandatory death penalty for drugs.
Not just copied us for our tough drug laws! Copied many things as well! Malaysian politics is worse; steeped in corruption; all sorts of scandals; murders most foul & the list goes on. The commentator should keep his foreigner's gap shut & stop his preaching. LKY is no angel but he is at least a known devil!
In fairness the commentator is probably one of the tree huggers who oppose the Malaysian MDP for drug trafficking as well.
