Will be 2 countries one system model. Johore/Singapore run by respective governments. But maybe same rules for both population on access to each other terriTories. Easy for Malaysians to live and work in Singapore and vice versa.

Despite being discriminated, the Chinese in Malaysia fare better economically than their counterparts here in S'pore. They live in landed properties, own more than one family cars, run own business (need not work for people), send their children for oversea studies in UK and Australia ...... and most of them can afford to retire at age 55 or earlier.

they will be shock to find out that their so called poorer malaysian chinese have overtaken sinkies in terms of standard of living and quality of life. most young educated adult chinese in malaysia can speak fluent mandarin, cantonese, malay and english. they own property that is usually bigger than our semi-detach houses. the wives can afford to stay at home and raise a family. most have 3-4 children and 2 cars. many work for 5-10 yrs before starting their own business.

Yes I agree that some are having it better ....but majority still lag behind us...but I also agree that before long they will catch up.

how to define having it better? HDB pigeonhole worth millions? majority of chinese malaysians have more disposable income and purchasing power than most sinkies...they lead a less stressful life with more living space.

We can have a merger with another country by looking at it's weaknesses. There is one in my mind...

China is far too dangerous where rich families are a protected lot.

India is far "too-democratic" where even rapists, murderers and corrupt politicians can get away.

USA will never want us. They are just using us like a whore. "When you cannot find a substitute (after Phillippines) look for a prostitute".

The US may even use us as a dumping ground for their nuclear waste.

Indonesia is a good choice but they do not give residential status to any nationals easily. They value their Freedom and Unity for their own people.

Malaysia will never come close to us in the impoverished state that we now are.

However, we can look forward by making an agreement with the Royal Thai Government and take over South Thailand on a 150 years lease that would be renewable and also inclde a condition that should we bring peace there, the place will become part of Singapore after that.

That would be easy. We just send all the FTs (from India and China) to that place. Let them reside there for many years and allow them to bring in their families to settle alongside with them. In no time that place will become the World's Filthiest Public Toilet. The smell will be so great that the current "freedom fighters" of Pattani Sultanate will just abandon that area and re-enter Malaysia.

That scheme woild be better then Sun Tzu's,.
