Yes, that's true. Had the Tengku not let us leave on the quiet, we would all be leading very miserable lives, thanks to the Old Fart who has the audacity to present his views for others to read when he was a complete failure. Also not many know that it was Toh Chin Chye who met with the Tengku and not the Old Fart, and Toh agreed with Tengku for Spore without the Old Fart's consent for he knew the Old Fart would never agree as he was still harboring the intention of becoming PM of Malaysia. And that's why he cried on national TV when the separation was announced, he cried because he then knew he had absolute no chance of being Malaysia PM, rather than out of concern for Singapore.
