For a country that still practises apartheid, yes he should be so proud !

I think the author is really naive, he is like someone who has just discovered hey, politicians lie, talk behind each others back, have their own agendas....

All politicians lie, everybody knows that ! What does he expect politcians to be like ???

Whatever! At least they have had a respected & honourable Statesman who kept to his word
that once he stepped down, he would relinquish all his positions in govt.
